Prof. S. Magesh is a notable academician and a passionate entrepreneur. He has commenced his academic career as Lecturer in the year 1999 and thereafter elevated to the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor and Head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering with his distinguished career spanning over the period of 15 years in various academies ranging from Polytechnic Colleges, Engineering Colleges and Varsities in different parts of Tamil Nadu till the year 2014 and possesses 9 years Corporate Experience. He has published 12 refereed International Indexed journals to his credit and a Book with ISBN.

He started Maruthi Technocrat E-Services foreseeing the needs of wide E- commerce and E-Business Development platforms in the contemporary business market and Founder and Director of Jupiter Publications Consortium. It is over the years he has diversified his business line to include Publications, Manpower Services and Educational and Support Services. In accordance with this diversification, he started the Magestic Technology Solutions Private Limited, wherein he is the Chairman and Director.

He has won many Awards and Accolades during his academic and entrepreneurial career which includes the Distinguished Innovator and Edupreneur Award bestowed on 7^th November 2017 and awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award on 5^th September 2019 by the renowned National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development (NFED), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He was also a National Level Handball Player. He is currently serving as the honorary Chief Adviser of NFED.
